Adapter Help PLEASE - HoboKelly

Posted: Mar 28, 2010

I finally broke down and purchased an IBM clickety-clack keyboard but now I'm stumped as to where to get the adapter.  Here's what I bought:

VINTAGE IBM Model M "Clicky" Keyboard p/n 1389160 - POS

I know many of you have purchased these gems and the adapters, and I'd love it if someone could link me directly to the precise adapter I need to make this compatible with my computer.

TIA!!!  (P.S. - Hopefully picture below shows up so you can see the POS for which I need the adapter, lol!)

Radio Shack has them. I imagine WM would carry them, as well as Staples.

Our local Radioshack has them on their website but when we called, they said they didn't have them (our Radioshack stores here are just horrendous, unfortunately). I'll give Staples a try, too, as I hadn't thought of them. We also tried Office Depot but no luck there either. I know these adapters are out there as so many of us "heavy typers" still use the old keyboards...now that I have the keyboard, I just need the adapter. Thanks so much for your help!

Dictaphone/Transnet Foot Pedal W/adapter
Sep 17, 2013

Although I have not gotten the official offer letter yet, my future employer wants me to get a "Dictaphone foot pedal with adapter".  I've worked in the office for many years with a Dictaphone system, but when looking for one on the Internet to buy, there appears to be different models/adapters.  Any ideas?  I don't want to ask them just yet what to buy as it is an IC position and I don't want to look stupid, though I guess I probably am. ...
