I should have listened - cj

Posted: Apr 07, 2015

I should have listened when people said not to request a reversal 'cuz it just gets them PO'ed! I got mine reversed and since then I am being QA'ed into oblivion. Since the new pay plan, I had been doing okay, making more money than before actually, but I got this error, requested a reversal, which I got, and since then it's all downhill. I am having about 5 or 6 times as many reports QA'ed and they are being ridiculous about what they are calling an error. These people are vindictive and petty. How can they face themselves every day when they behave so badly?

My advice to you, even though it's a pain sm - ><

is to keep asking for reversals. I know that may be the opposite of what you want to do, but the only way the QA are held accountable for any of this petty crap is to call them out on it to their supervisors. Anything even remotely questionable, I would try to reverse. If they have enough reversals there are consequences. I would fight every one that I could. They shouldn't supposed to be counting for all that petty stuff and if they are keep sending reversals.

Nothing is ever going to change until someone stands up and starts the change. I put in for reversals for every one that I question or feel is over editing. Yeah I get picked on for a while, but I pick on them right back....

Good luck to you and to all of us. They are making our jobs a lot harder than they need to be.

I agree with the poster above me, >< - Ask for reversals always

And when you get a reversal back that's been denied, if you KNOW you're right, send it back AGAIN! This happened to me once before and it WAS reversed the second time through. They may seem like they get on us for a while, but they will move on... just keep on doing the good job that you do, and try not to let it worry you as much as it does right now. Sounds easy, I know, and it's not - but you'll eventually be able to somehow ahead of time know what they're looking at (really, sounds like a psychic, but it's true) and you'll figure 'em all out.
Chin up! You're a good MT and you know it! :)

Anybody Else Ever Listened To The Same Lousy Dictator

until they were to the point of tears or even in tears.  I have had the same dictator over and over for the last 1/1-2 hours who sounds like she has the microphone in her mouth.  I don't know how much more I can take of this.  Unfortunately, the next account I know I have to go into is back-to-back of the same ESL who hasn't mastered the English language and dictates at the speed of light.  Sorry, just had to vent.  I'm just about ready to pull my hair out ...

Has Anyone Listened To Any Of The "guest Speakers"?

I should.  Is there anything important to be missed if one does not listen?  Has anything been said about increasing our wages from sub-poverty to poverty or maybe even back to where they used to be so we can keep our cars and homes?  Any insight is appreciated. ...
