or not.  but the things the computer comes up with and actually transcribes, while the dictator is yawning, or even not saying anything, sometimes i read 10 sentences of i think english words that the computer types while the doc makes quiet grunting sounds or lip smacking.  how do these sounds translate into words.? inquiring minds want to know...lol.

the whole technology of speech recognition would be interesting if it hadn't replaced me, or nearly.

it seems like everything is speeded up. i never have the speed of this thing turned down below 1, but lately 0.8 isn't slow enough. whats up with that? maybe its me. stress. or not.

is what ASR comes up with at the end of the dictation when the doctor is finishing it, saying their usual "end of dictation, doctor so and so dictating on so and so, medical record number, etc., " some of those make absolutely no sense with what the doctor is actually saying.

With the thing ASR comes up with I swear - sm
