I am assuming there are a lot less reports going to QA....meaning that the MMEs are spending a lot more time transcribing rather than doing quality assurance....meaning less work for all...make sense?

of course that . . . . - voice

was going to happen. No more QA, so MME's need to make a living too, so as long as Peter Pan is running the show we will be stuck in NJA-land. what a shame.

plus the fact of asking all the PT's to put in extra - time or anyone who needed

to make up time to do extra time. duh and of course they do the time and then there is no work left.. duh duh
They're a bunch of dingbats managing the work. - mrs.krabs

It doesn't affect their salaries, and they really don't care about yours. They can't seem to grasp anything but turnaround time and it looking good on their part. When I worked for them, I usually ignored the OT calls and e-mails. They always seemed to be in a panic and then there was no work available for regular working hours.
This PT hasn't had a full week's work since November - sm - Confuzzeled

All I get are NJA or system upgrades, and no work to make any of it up. Perhaps there are some areas where the PT people are getting something extra, but not mine. I'd look to place the blame elsewhere if I were you.
I agree - with confuzzeled

I'm PT flex, and I can barely get in 20 hours a week.
what is PT flex? No set schedule? - curiousMT

I was curious. I was offered a position and would want a flexible schedule, but it didn't sound like they offer that.
pt flex - anon

they tried to make us think it would be completely flexible, then wanted a set schedule. They do not even have a PT flex employee status anymore, not that it would matter anyway.

VR And Mitch Miller Sing-A-Long
Nov 08, 2014

For those of us old enough to remember the Mitch Miller sing along -- doesn't VR kind of remind you of that? I work in Escription and the Alt-K that moves you along with the text is kind of like that old bouncing ball - except the notes and the lyrics are all wrong -- LOL. I had a new PA today who was not recognized by VR and had to do straight typing and I averaged 225 lph, compared to my usual 250-300 with VR, except got paid much more for it.  Makes me want to look for a job that is ...
