Mmodal or me? I just checked my personal emails. Now, mind you, I currently work for Mmodal as a radiology MT North region. I just got an email offering me an MT job at Mmodal! The title of the email was "employment update - Mmodal". I thought I was getting fired! Looked up the company name on the email address "rightthinginc.com" and googled it....found out Mmodal apparently does their initial testing for hiring through an outside company. I have been applying for jobs, a few places that ended up merging with Mmodal, so figured this was in response to one of those. Gee, I guess Mmodal thinks they're so great to work for that they don't have to check applications against their current staff list before sending out test invites. Oh man, this is just too funny to me right now! I'm still belly laughing and my son thinks he needs to take me to the funny farm right down the street from us!

Probably same people who are in charge of tier tests - Have not got it right yet

They either takes months on end to audit/send the invite/grade the test or they send the invite to the wrong email address and blame the MT for never testing. Three times I have tried to tier up and still waiting. Incompetence at its best.

If I were you I would take the test and see if you could get a better line rate. If they cannot look to see if you are an employee then they certainly are not looking at how much you currently make.

I have given up trying to tier up and there is nothing ever that will get squared away, especially with a phone call.

First comes the audit which I never see or get the results of. Three times. So I have to be a detective and remember when I requested and track down the results either A) calling and looking like an idiot because I got less than 99% and I get to hear that I failed or B) hearing that I passed the audit but it is now past the window of opportunity. Twice I have missed the open window of 30 days and once I was actually sent the link but it was sent to the wrong email address.

That is not including the first time I tried to tier up and the company sat with test results for over 6 months, eventually admitted they lost them and suggested I retest.

I know you think you can fix this with a phone call but it is simply not true. It is not only access to the actual test itself which apparently takes an act of God, it is requested training materials, a mentor/coach to help me prepare for operative notes, etc., so when I would pass I would not get thrown to the wolves with a higher QA submission rate and end up making less money than I do now.

This company obviously does not want to help MTs to move up. I have accepted the incompetence of the company when it comes to this and you should too. My choices are simple- be content at the tier level I am or find another company.

Thanks for your offer, but the whole system needs reworking.

Well, I just got a robot followup call. Any other company, I would take the test; however, I like radiology work and do not care to go back to acute care for Mmodal.....any other company I would go back. I am trying to get away from Mmodal, not change to acute care for the same awful company who does not realize that treating the employees well ends in happy satisfied customers....instead they try to satisfy the customers by whipping their employees....and (surprise surprise) it doesn't seem to be working since they are selling out to another company.
