Mount Laurel Travel - anon

Posted: Mar 13, 2010

Anybody else loving that refreshing invitation that if we are traveling to the Mount Laurel Office to stay in the Hyatt?  First of all, are any of able to go anywhere this summer and even stay in Motel 6?  Plus do you suppose they are getting some kind of monetary compensation for advertising for the Hyatt on the MQ Central site?

That only applies to the Indians...not meant to post that in US - oops...nm

Why? What would they be doing here? - They can stay home and enjoy their perks . .

as far as I am concerned.

I don't need a vacation working for MQ, I already feel like I am at Disney World on Space Mountain -- ups and downs in the dark and a scream around every bend!

They have a contract for special business rates with them. - Business 101

Okay, but the Hyatt? Really? What about La Quinta, Best Western - Whatever!

They cannot just live a simple life, can they? And some of these ASR instructors and higher-ups tell me "I" need to go with the flow and accept change, but they cannot accept the simple life? They have to live high on the hog?

You just don't know anything about business do you? - sm

The corp rates they get are right at what you'd pay at those other hotels. The ones you mention are NOT available close to the Atlanta offices and they must also pay mileage. LOL

They do need a measure of comfort when there. They are working more than hours than you do you and not getting any more pay for it while still having to maintain their regular workload.

I understand your irritation and lashing out at everyone over everything but really you should learn a little bit first.

If you don't like it, perhaps you should go somewhere else.

Awww . . . . poor overworked suits. - Drip, drip, drip . . . .

Whaaa!!!! Why must they suffer so? I feel so bad!!!!! Can I offer up my own home, for some good old home cooked food pantry picked dinner?

Ohhh, I see, they are used to lobster and caviar more than likely.

Well, it was just a thought from an underpaid pion.

Need ya suit pressed some at least? !!!

Why don't you go somewhere else? Hm? Oh, YOU are making too much money, that is right! So YOU are goin nowhere!

Well, you can take a LONG walk off a short pier as far as I am concerned.

Bye!!
I only posted about La Quinta, Best Western - Gee.

I did not post any other comments so I did not lash out, you just assumed. I just thought maybe the company could treat other employees/clients the same way QA/MT/MEEs get treated. Can only wish I guess.

Who was asking for anymore pay? That is unheard of and in fact, what is that? One thing is for sure, I know all about decreasing pay though. Oh, this company did lose a good MT as I am on that list of "One of the Best." Been with this company since 1998 from the very beginning. I have gone back to school and am out of here soon.

Running a business? I would run it more ethically and with more moral/values and it would not be ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!
Oh my gosh! Made a huge mistake. Hahaha. - Cannot believe I said 1998!

Hahaha. I meant to say, 1988! I still cannot believe myself HOW STUPID I am to have stayed this long! Hahaha.

Yep, worked with the Marcus Brothers, Jay Cannon (his first manage position)Cohen, T.M. Yep, I pretty much know how this company treats MT's.

Anyway To Check Report Travel History?
Jul 10, 2012

Just wondering as I seem to be getting the doc that no one likes to type after seeing him assigned to another person.  It could be that the person was at the end of their shift and punched out before getting to the report in her queue, but after happening 3 times now, I'm getting suspicious. ...
