Somebody last week compared our job to an air traffic controller's. I think it would be like an air traffic controller who has to go to a new airport every day and work (with no errors). Also similar to a concert pianist who goes onto the stage and has to perform SIGHT READING every night for 8 hours.
For those of you who have regular accounts, you don't understand. For the others of us who have a million "regular" accounts and then in the cesspool, you do understand. This is so beyond stressful, I can't even explain it. Trying to understand complete strangers who are tired, angry, and just plain lazy and slurring and stuttering all over the place (while urinating, eating, swimming, exercising, and sometimes seemingly sleeping) is bad -- but to try and do it with no blanks and no errors is off the chart on the stress-o-meter.
