hand cream helps with typing, for me - steady eddie

Happened to put on some Jergens original scent (cherry almond, so retro) and was able to do a better job of typing.

Anything to increase our line counts, ay, fellow MT Goddesses?

I have this really cool tube that has the best smelling hand creme ever (smells like almond buttercream frosting but better) PLUS a separate cap that flips open that has a small mirror and lip balm. Whenever I need a little aromatic pick-me-up, I apply the lip balm and then flip open the hand creme part and use it on my hands and elbows. It makes me smell fantastic for hours, lol!

Wow, I never thought of aromatherapy to help my work. As soon as I'm done with training, I'm going to try some nice hand cream.

Is by Votre Vu and it's called "Duette." There are distributors for it but I usually get it off of Ebay where it's about half the retail price. It works really good, too (on top of that delicious smell, lol!).

I use Calgon body cream. It smells WONDERFUL and helps me to type faster for some reason, leaves hands silky also. The aroma is so wonderful.

When I started as an MT, I worked third shift. I had heard that peppermint helps keep you focused and acts as a pick-me-up. I was desperate to stay awake, so I tried peppermint gum and darn if it didn't work!! I no longer work third shift, but I still get the ho-hums occasionally. I am now in search of a peppermint candle to burn while I am typing.

Ladies..we gotta do what we gotta do...right?

This dr. is dictating some sort of cream that s/l triensemalom cream. This is the second patient she has dictated this on. At first I defaulted it to Tridesilon cream, but it really doesn't sound like that. The patient was also prescribed Clobetasol cream. She has psoriatic arthritis, OA, DDD, fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel, diabetes, and hypercalcemia. She is also on Humira, Plavix, nabumetone, oxycodone, Ultram, and Fentanyl and Lidoderm patches. Ambulatory is definitely different than acute transcription and probably better in a LOT of ways, but if it makes you acute care feel any better, the 24-hour TAT that is talked about was not a true 24-hour TAT, at least not with my company. If my doctor dictated at 11 pm, my reports were due by 3 pm the next day, so that is more like a 16 hour TAT. If my doctors decided to turn in their reports on the weekend, then I transcribed on the weekend. I worked when my doctors sent reports which ...
