work for Kforce? - GranNan

Losing my FT job at end of January.  Have worked for Medquist in the past but wanting to try something new.  Thinking of Kforce.  I am married with grown (& moved away) children.  My husband is supportive of my traveling.  Know a girl that worked for Kforce & loved it.  Worked previously with another girl who left that position to work for Kforce and last I heard from her - she loved it.  Need a job with reliable available work and affordable health insurance for myself & husband.  Thanks in advance for all input!

I worked for them for over 7 years and it was great while it lasted. Take the downturn in the economy and the increase in outsourcing to MTSO's and you can pretty much figure out what happened. They have very few transcriptionist's working for them anymore, and have a much bigger demand for coders.

Last I heard they were not hiring transcriptionists. You can try but don't be surprised if they are not hiring. You need to understand that it is not a steady job, it was when the economy was great, but now hospitals just don't want to pay the travel expenses so most jobs that do come in are they want local workers.

It takes you to an employment agency - do a search for medical transcription in all states and 0 results are found.  There is no such job as they said here.   ...
