anything about MedServe? - bluebird

Anyone out there know anything about MedServe? I was contacted yesterday via email by Sabrina. She said she would like me to start working for them for 1 week - 5 reports a day with 24-hr turnaround and then if everything worked out I would have a position. I had applied in early Dec. I quickly googled "medserve mtstars" and came up with a claim that they were bogus. I replied to Sabrina stating that I found on mtstars that they were a bogus company. She replied that I must be mistaken and that she had just opened her company this week. I referred her to the post about MedServ being bogus. No reply from her, but then I noticed the post on MT stars was flagged by the moderator as being the poster's opinion only. Does anyone know anything about this company?

This company has posted on different occasions and under different people's names. It was the concensus of the posters on this board that perhaps this company was using applicants as a way to get free work done for them, since no one ever got a reply on their testing, etc. You can keep going down and see the posts, which seems you already have. 5 reports a day for 1 week and THEN see how it works out....that sounds weird to me.

If not, definitely say no. Even if you are, sounds like they are having a whole bunch of people do 5 reports a day each, and then maybe they'll pick the one who they think does the best job. But I'm wondering why they don't just have a test, like other companies. Definitely be careful.

I agree - sounds fishy. They did say they would pay a flat rate of $125 after that first week. I found a transcription company named MedServe in Delaware, but no info on them. Since she didn't reply after pointing out the bogus comment, I'll bet they are not on the up-and-up. Thanks guys for your input. Maybe others will see this and take it for what its worth.

Anyone heard of this company? Any experience with them? Pay seems low, but I can't find any info. in the archives on them, nor on google. The job post doesn't even say what state the company is in.
