Anybody have any info on working for MedINK? They recently purchased the company I was working for and am wondering if I should stay or make a change? Right off the bat they lowered the cpl rate and removed MTs from specific accounts. Thanks.

Med INK experience - not impressed

I was hired by MED INK a while back...Went through the whole paperwork process, which was very long. Jumped right in working and reviewed all QA feedback. Most all reports I did fell between 98-100% with most getting 100%. No other comments whatsoever...When I sent the owner an email asking how long I would be in QA, she responded that I should keep my current job because I didn't meet their standards.
It made NO sense to me at all. I had gotten nothing, but good percentages on my reports and all of a sudden..they dropped me. I was not impressed. I sent a lengthy email as a professional asking for an explanation because of the above stated issues....Nothing in return. To me, not very professional. If their standards are ABOVE 100% on QA...then I guess I don't fit the bill. Only Jesus was perfect. (smiley face)

You might do fine, but that was my experience.

I did receive the small check she owed me very promptly.

The company I worked for was bought out by Med Ink as well. My cpl was dropped. I was required to get tax ID and then suddenly no work on account I had been working on for over 5 years. I questioned this and they told me it was just before Memorial Day and not to jump to conclusions. The very next week they sent email stating that account had went with another company who offered lower rate. Med Ink never offered me another account.

They paid promptly, but I didn't get a good feeling about the company.

Does anyone work for MedInk? I see they had an ad posted and was going to apply. I only know of one person who works for that company and she tells me the QA will pick you apart. She says it takes her quite awhile to do even a short report because they are so picky. She proofreads a report three times and still worries about sending it in because they will find a problem somewhere. Can anyone currently working for or have previously worked for Medink (Medical Ink) provide any information as to how are they to work for in terms of pay on time, communication with the MTs, and workflow (or lack thereof)? I have recently started with Medink and so far pretty good. I truly hope that this company receives ZERO response to their RIDICULOUS job offer. For the work I've done this morning in approximately 2 hours, working for them I would have made $12.50. That would have garnered me MUCH less than minimum wage instead of the just under $50 I thankfully made NOT working for MedINK. UGH! I feel better now having vented LOL! ...
