In a bit of a pickle - sm

Where does one apply when you have already worked for just about every company over the years? Some lasted months, years, and even one lasted about 2 hours. Getting discouraged.

Have ya worked for Cornerstone Prof. Svcs? - ha ha ha

Are you my twin? I worked for so many companies, that I've lost track. Some were wonderful until they sold their souls to the devil. So many just over hire and there's not enough work to make a living. Then along came speech wreck and I'm just not willing to sink even lower with the wage per hour. Oh, I'll do speech wreck just to have work, but I can't do it 100% of my workload or I won't be paying the bills.

Myself and some other MTs have actually only lasted days or a couple of weeks with a couple of companies. Sometimes you can just tell almost immediately that the platform is junk or if there's no available work from the first day, then you know it's not going to improve.

In the last two years, I have been trying to find a second company to supplement the problems with my primary work. I'm on company number three and this is not looking hopeful again.

I hope someone gives you a good lead, but I think we're all working for companies that over hire, pay crap, and don't know where to turn ourselves.

Sorry, I don't have any leads. Best of luck to you.

TWO job offers today. One is for my old hospital. I never thought it would happen again. I tried for 3 years to get my old hospital job back but never heard a peep. Thanks to still networking with my old cohorts, I got a call today. I might be a FT EMPLOYEE this time, not I.C. I had the choice of I.C., PT, or FT. I chose FT because of the insurance, but left it up to the HIM director "whatever she needed".   HaHa! Was so excited, I forgot to ask the pay rate. I hope I sounded cool as a cuc ...
