DST (DSTOK) in Oklahoma - Melanie

I have recently begun working for this company and was hired to work on an account that uses Speech Motion/M*Modal platform.  I have had a few problems with the platform (especially with my foot pedal not working very well), but I guess it would be an okay one to work on eventually.  In the meantime the account I was hired for has not had enough work to keep everyone busy.  I was told I could have another account on a different platform in addition to the one I had.  I was very happy about that until I actually took the training for that platform (MedRite XL).  I am having a lot of trouble with so many steps to go through but I am so hoping I catch on pretty soon because it is taking me way too long to produce work.  It seems to me there are so many steps to go through just to get to the point of being able to transcribe work, etc.  I would like to hear from anyone who has worked on the MedRite platform and how long it took them to get used to it so they could produce an average amount of lines per shift.  I feel as if I have a ton of bricks on my head at this point, but I will keep at it, just have to focus more.
