I don't know why they would not as long as its a high-speed connection. - sm

I have a wireless router I use for all of my work. I have 3 different computer workstations throughout my home. The company is aware, as when they work on my computers, they ask that I hardwire them so that it is faster.
Well, almost all of the jobs posted say... - sm

no wireless or satellite internet connection. This is so frustrating because wireless is all I can get where I live.
I live rurally and use wireless - as long as it is secure

I get my signal from a mile away from a company that broadcasts wirelessly as their business.
The WAP (wireless access point) has a unique identifier called a MAC address, and that keeps things secure.
(Sorry to say, but your mileage may vary when you talk to a potential employer.)
I have been using air card for 3 years - ME

So if that's what you mean by wireless you should not have a real problem. I apply unless it says they will *not* accept wireless/air card. If you mean unsecured wireless where you can connect like at Starbucks that's not the same and its not secure.
I have *never* had an outage (other than electrical) so it seems more reliable than dsl or cable and the speed is sufficient for the platforms we use.
That said, it depends on where you are, but I highly recommend it and have had many jobs using it.

Sprint "unlimited" High-speed Wireless Internet Sep 10, 2010FYI for all. I have had an "unlimited" Sprint Internet plan for a number of years working at home without any problems. Sprint has apparently decided to put a cap on the plan, of which I am shortly to exceed it without any prior notice. I am told my only resort is to pay for the overage or cancel my services, which I just renewed contract on conveniently enough for Sprint. I'm still working on my "issue" but thought I'd give others a headsup. If you have S ...

Looking For Companies That Work With Satellite Internet. May 04, 2010I have been with the same company for over three years now and we have recently switched to ASR. I am really trying, but am not really enjoying it at all for a number of reasons.

Wireless Headphones Sep 04, 2011Does anyone have or know of where to get wireless headphones. My cat has chewed through the wires of 3 sets of headphones (at $18 each its getting expensive). After the first 2 sets I have been putting them in a drawer when not in use, but the cord sticks out of the drawer attached to the computer and she found her way around the box while I was watching TV and now my third set is gone. Within seconds she chews right through the cord. So, since there are wireless keyboard ...

Wireless Mouse Dec 01, 2011I am just wondering if any of you are using a wireless mouse and how they are working for you? I currently use a wired mouse and have for centuries. Since I use mine more than most people, it seems, they do not last. I am having difficulty finding wired mouse any longer due to being outdated. I am hesitant in getting a wireless because wireless tends to slow me down with a second of lag. Those seconds add up and I am just wondering how beneficial they are. Any ...
