This board is a good example of where the job of being an MT has gone, and it is all but gone. I am sure there are a few out there who either have secured their own accounts, perhaps some remote hospitals or clinics, and a few companies that treat you like garbage and pay next to nothing. I have seen posted jobs about doing insurance dictation or meetings, police reports, but not that much and I don't know how they are to work for, but I know I tried doing some of those meeting dictations and it was horrible.
I left a couple of years ago and am kicking myself for staying as long as I did.
If you need to work and make some sort of decent money it is time to move on.
