Apply. We long-time medical transcriptionists bring a lot of experience to the table, and that is valuable, but it is not the same as scribing. Scribing is more about how quickly you can turn the files around, as most companies are looking for you to be able to scribe at least 2 to 3 patient files per hour. I've seen pay as high as $20 an hour if you can do that accurately. Head or lead scribes tend to make more, and trainer scribes get even more. Good luck to you!
