is unacceptable and I find that hard to believe she wasn't paid. This happened to me a few years ago and we never got paid, for 2 months of work, and the other MT and I were screwed. After that if they were 1-2 days late I just quit.
The thing with transcription, you most always need two accounts, just cannot rely on one or a part time job and MT work is supplement or vice versa.
I would check into taking her to small claims court if you are a 1099 contract employee or call the Dept of Labor if you are an employee with taxes taken out of your check.
Don't try to contact the doctor's office, it doesn't do any good.
What happened to us, the gal we worked for decided to use VR and then she proofed the reports and kept all the money they paid her and did away with us.
