Do not proceed, run - Bad company

Just like all the others out there, lies and abuse, low pay, no work and the list goes on and on. This job has been reduced to next to nothing. Nobody could love MT work enough to put up with it any longer and they are leaving or retiring.

How many times have we read about how great their company is and have had MTs for years, yeah right.

The best way to stay clear of these robbers, slave drivers, find another line of work.

I did this for many years and to this day regret it, because I didn't get out 20 years ago when the bottom began to fall out. Everyone talks about what a good job this was, but that is gone never to return.

Too many war stories posted here to ever justify this job. Most MTs are retiring and if these companies think the younger work force will put up with their garbage they are mistaken. Some have continued due to health issues, but the younger work force won't have those problems and good for them. The whole dynamics of the work force has changed and you have to adapt, but it is totally worth it.
