This scribe thing, I kind of don't get it. Are the medical facilities trying to get more medical knowledge and skill from pre-med students or MA people? Double duty for the same or less pay for these people with more education?
What really are they trying to prove or gain by going from IC MTs to scribe?
It's basically the same thing in the long run, scribe or MT. Yes, it works a bit differently, but it really is the same thing eventually.
