If you go into, I believe, File then Options then Settings, you can choose to detach the cursor from your foot pedal control. That way it only follows the voice and it won't skip around when you let off the foot pedal. I am retired from using ES One so I can't go in and see for sure anymore, but there is a setting to change your cursor. Hope that helps! :)
