Try Ghostery. It's a free ad blocker extension for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, and Opera.
Try AdblockerPlus extension too. I use both of these with Chrome and Opera. I never see pop up ads on websites unless I "pause" the extension. If I were to do that on MTStars, the ads here would really swarm in...
With these blockers though, some sites you visit may ask you to pause the blocker or you can't go into the site. It's easy enough to do if you want to see the site. I usually pass on these sites unless I absolutely have to get into, like some online bill payment sites I use. It's worth a try.
