You can search in a round-about way. Choose M*Modal from the column on the left. At the top, there's Archive and Search. Click Search. In the Enhanced by Google bar type Aquity or whatever key word you want to find in the messages. It's not a great solution, but it will show you recent messages that have disappeared.
