When I used it, it was used both for just audio on some accounts and within Chartnet itself. When typing within, I would get a pop out that looked different from Word but was a Word document to type in with headers built in. Very easy to learn.
If a company wants you to use it, then there is nothing for you to pay for. Any software a company wants you use, they usually supply you with said software.
I liked ChartNet. It was simple and very easy to use.
