I'm not complaining really.
One of the companies I work for hired a firm out of India.
When the work in an account gets 24-36 hours behind, they just pull the newest jobs out of the queue and send them to India while the American transcriptionists finish up the stuff that is still behind.
They've been doing this for at least 10 years that I am aware of. It's nice, because it means that we American transcriptionists never run out of work. At the same time, I don't like it, obviously... but as far as using Indian transcriptionists goes, this is one of the "fairest" uses I've seen.
