This company is a joke and they have illegal practices. They hire you as an IC, but treat you EXACTLY like an employee. They even outright refer to you as an employee in the documentation they send you. Everything from the very first nanosecond that you are hired is on a strict schedule that you cannot alter in any way, shape, or form. They literally email you a whole itinerary for each day of the onboarding process (which is like two weeks - totally absurd) with the exact times they expect you to be doing certain things. They let me go because I couldn't get their "test files" done by the exact minute they claimed they needed them, even though I was an IC. I informed them that I have another job where I am actually an employee with a set schedule and that it takes priority over them (Allegis was just going to be very part-time supplemental income for me), but that I would be able to complete the "test files" later that evening. Nope. Not good enough for them! I called them out on their illegal behavior, which they did not like one bit. I reported them to the IRS and they are actually currently investigating them for misclassification of employees as ICs.

So, long story short, avoid this company like the plague. They are EXTREMELY unethical and flagrantly break the law when it comes to misclassifying the status of their workers.
