Preaching to the choir - How can you be sure

My transcription career ran from 1974 to 2012 and part of that time was in QA, so I am very familiar with the “nature of medical transcription.” You are creating a legal document, and one of the first things you should have learned is not to guess when someone presents you with a sound alike, particularly in a scenario such as this. If the person is taking a test and your guess is wrong, it won’t be good, and it definitely won’t be good if it’s entered incorrectly into someone’s medical record. I don’t know how you can be so sure of yourself when you didn’t listen to the voice file. You should know that 2 people can listen to the same thing and both hear something different.
