I just emailed her and asked. I will NOT do production QA either. I've done it before and it's nearly impossible to make even remotely decent money being paid that way. QA really need to be paid hourly. It's only fair. If I find out they are paying some lousy CPL rate, that's going to be a big, fat no for me.
