Would it have REALLY been so difficult for them to include this very crucial information in their ad? I also applied not knowing that I don't live in one of the states they are hiring from, so my time was wasted as well. I even updated my resume for this position. It also wastes THEIR time by having to go through resumes from people who don't live in one of those states. Not very smart on their part. Not very smart at all. If a company is only hiring people from specific geographic locations, they NEED to make that clear in the ad. This is very unprofessional and shows that they are clearly very disorganized.
