This job requires training as well as certification and these type of jobs are scarce, you don’t just walk in, say you were an MT and get hired. My facility employs cancer registrars. We had 4 and reduced the staff to 2.. Many people are close to retirement and don’t want to spend money on a program with no guarantee of a job. There is no need to insult peoples intelligence by saying they are not smart enough to do this job. You were in the right place at the right time, good for you, but don’t offer false hope for jobs that are not that plentiful.
