If you already have a laptop, and want to get another laptop, then get an identical laptop to what you have. It sounds like you want a laptop to use at another location for work; well you're also going to need programs for the transcription portion as well and mot just to play the voice files.
Not a really clear post. I have a laptop, when I take with me when I travel. It has so much memory, which I added extra memory to. It has a mirror image of the hard drive as well as another hard drive in case I decide to upgrade my system; I have something to install in case the upgrade fails.
