Phone call today - Workingmt

Anyone else receive a phone call from their supervisor about doing a "project" to basically train the Scribe Platform that they are developing. They are offering to pay by the hour at base rate just to "keep busy" and it will not matter if it takes all day to do 1 job. At this point, I figure what have I got to lose. I really thought it was a phone call telling me I'm laid off. I can keep my same hours, so I agreed. Nervous about having to be trained on a whole new platform however.
