It's very easy to get hired right now, especially if you're an MT. They have great benefits from day 1.

I personally didn't like it as I had a hard time listening to all the blabber in the patient encounter and pulling out the relevant information (I've been away from MT for a few years). The audio on the recordings is actually quite good.

There's also a lot of administrative rigmarole involved that I didn't like and lots of apps and programs you have to work with. I also didn't like the manager I was assigned. Luck of the draw, I guess.

Some people do like it, though; that's why I would encourage people to apply.
