I was told by IT at one time a few years ago that satellite internet isn't compatible with many transcription platforms. I was going to switch myself to HughesNet at one point, but the tech said you need to have a steady connection for the file upload/download and satellite internet tends to fluctuate too much and isn't compatible. He said it wasn't so much the speed of the satellite internet, it was the waxing and waning connection and not being steady enough for file transfer. However, that was a couple of years back - things might be different now. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors. :)
