It happened to me 15 years ago. Be lucky it lasted this long.
Almost everyone is using voice recognition if they are dictating and they either hire editors for half the money (totally a scam) or they just send it through with a statement at the bottom that this report may not be accurate, etc., etc., or dictated not proofread - covering their butts.
Does it really matter anymore? Find another career. As a matter of fact, if your hospital offers you something on-site, take it. You'll do way better than working at home as an independent contractor for 4 cpl and no benefits. Good luck!
