STDs, short for Steri-Drapes? These are placed during surgical and medical procedures to prevent surgical site infections. Maybe the doc just shortened Steri-Drapes to StDs.
SCDs, sequential compression devices. I don't think placing SCDs during the surgical draping process fits.
