Maybe you could bluff your way in if that is really what you want or ask prospective employers to give you a test to prove you know your "medical stuff." Yes, the skill is different, but they are the same words, etc., so your talent in interpreting them correctly is what you are using, just in a different way. I would like to say that I hope you don't give your skill away by working for free. You and your skills are valuable even if you need to bump them up a bit with editing. Good luck to you.
