Something tells me they are or were Net Transcripts. The reason I believe this is because I have seen the companies that they own such as Wordzexpressed listed on another website that I believe was Net Transcripts. Rebranding and probably hoping they can find MTs under the new name.
A lot of the time these companies are bait and switch. They tell you it is medical and the next thing you know you are doing insurance transcription because that's where the need is the most.
Keep in mind that it's IC, so they owe you no work.
Also ask about being paid and how often, etc., first. These companies making you wait a month are shady.
