It sure did, and this article is from 2018! The sentence that stuck out to me was “...the overall profession is a shell of what it once was.” Ain’t that the truth. I had about a 10-year run as an IC where I was earning 4x what I am now. Pathetic, especially considering our specialized medical knowledge, IT skills, continued education requirements, etc.
