But many libraries are not accepting donations right now because of COVID. They're having a hard enough time finding space to quarantine their returned items and trying to figure out where to put items their patrons borrowed through interlibrary loan until that is up and running again. Unsolicited donations are likely to end up in the pulper bin. The library will get a few cents for them, but not anywhere near what they could get from their sale kiosk/nook. COVID hassles might be different in your state, so asking the library first would probably be the way to go.
