I would advise anyone who is going to use VDI, to purchase separate equipment just for work purposes. I found a refurbished computer that met the specs and only use it for MT work and nothing else. Same with Fluency if you go to work for one of MM's clones, i.e. OneVoice. They will install their own security system which is from Russia and take off anything that you have on your own computer.
Be wary of these companies that use that stuff and I know we should not have to purchase a new computer, but for your own peace of mind it is worth it.
