and the clock is ticking down for W-2 deadline, January 31, 2020. Why does it feel like things are that much closer to doomsday?

Not looking forward to finding out how much damage has been done and what it will take in order to file taxes for 2019, correctly, so that there won't be an audit by the IRS down the road. What a mess!
