Given up MT, doing other things but full time Hospital MT for 30+ years. Took my son to the ER not too long ago with scribe in the room. Told scribe about my background, asked if I could watch. Shocked at how inept and incapable he was. Physician had to tell him what to type in, spell everything, scribe clueless. Wanted to push the scribe aside and do it right but of course kept silent.
