in your area, the counselors are usually available to help. Your unemployment department might also have centers in your state--I had to visit one once, and they were helpful.
I personally went through the Jewish Vocational Service in my city (open to everyone) and they were fantastic with resume review, interviewing, salary negotiation, skills assessment, and just listening and helping to clarify goals. They were also a resource for jobs which were not publicly posted.
Glad to share a couple of ideas. I think everyone needs or has needed to make a change at one time or another. Better days ahead!
