ICs should definitely do it. - sm

Any IC having to work a set schedule or not being able to name their own line rate should definitely let the IRS know they are treated as employees instead of ICs.

I can't tell my heater guy what I want to pay him. He gives me the price, and he tells me when he can come do it.

As for employee status, I think production is a rip off and we should be paid at least minimum wage. We should be paid hourly. Sometimes we have to shift and wait around for work. If we were on-site, what they do keep sending us home every few hours and tell us to come back?

This industry is such a rip off.
