We've taken down the TTS ad - ADMIN

We've removed TTS' advertisement because we've received complaints through our "Report this Message" feedback system, as well as seen various comments on the board that TTS is only paying VBC rates for the jobs they are advertising.

We are operating on the assumption that TTS made a simple mistake in the wording of their advertisement and did not intend to deliberately scam applicants with a "bait and switch". TTS are welcome to continue advertising their open positions with MTStars as long as they are paying the minimum 4/8 cpl, including spaces. However, due to what has happened, MTStars has stipulated to TTS that any future advertisements that they put up state specifically that the job advertised is NOT a VBC job, so as to avoid any confusion going forward.

Obviously and additionally, advertising VBC jobs continues to be disallowed on our site by any company (unless the CPL rate is high enough that the adjusted pay is, again, above or at the 4/8 CPL minimum compensation... that would be 5/10 CPL-VBC).

MTStars is a forum for transcriptionists. We provide a separate space for MTSOs to come and advertise their positions as a free service to our member transcriptionists. We are not here for the benefit of the MTSOs. Therefore, unlike other pages and websites that allow any MTSOs to advertise any job regardless of whether or not they pay a living wage, we will continue to be selective and discriminating in which advertisements we allow.

Please continue to provide feedback on the companies advertising on MTStars. If you feel that, upon contacting the advertiser, the job being offered is not the same as the job being advertised, please report the advertisement immediately. The same goes for anybody charging any kind of application fees, any third party recruiters, or any "earn and learn" programs.
