Make sure that the chair can be adjusted such that your keyboard is aligned with your hips or you will end up with serious neck, upper back, and shoulder issues. Also make sure your monitor is straight in front of you, and you're not having to turn your neck to look at it. There are plenty of cheap chairs that meet those criteria, but if you have a very high desk, you may be out of luck no matter what you do. If you have a tray table attached to your desk, this resolves the problem.
