I left two companies because of VDI and have applied at various other companies only to decline when I asked if they used VDI or not.
It is still out there and obviously many MTs are working in it, no matter how bad it is. It is pathetic what this job has become and what MTs are willing to take; i.e., low pay, only IC status, late pay (KS), VDI and so on.
I am now out of work and looking for something else. I do check other MT jobs, but most of them use VDI or Fluency and that is another one that takes over your computer, but at least I think it is better than VDI.
