That is your internet connection and the lag time. - MT2

Everything you are seeing when you use VDI is something that is "computed" and "displayed" by a Nuance server a thousand miles away. Sometimes the round-trip speed between what you input on a keyboard, and what is broadcast back to your monitor from the Nuance server can be lengthened and delayed. This is a function of your internet connection and how much traffic your internet service provider is handling at any given moment.

It's just another aspect of using VDI that makes it a stupid solution for something as speed-sensitive as transcription typing. There is nothing you (or Nuance) can do about it except complain to your internet service provider. Well, nothing you can do about it except turn off VDI, of course.
