You need to ask them exactly what they mean by "strict" line. Someone below answered that maybe it's the same as gross line, which means anything on a line counts as a line--one word to any number of words. We still need to know about how many characters constitute a line as they could use a tiny weeny font size and 1/2 inch margins and try to cram 75-100 characters or more on a line. It would take longer to produce lines using the above method. The definition of line needs to be DEFINED in writing in a contract.
