I've applied for positions through Indeed and I have never been asked to confirm anything after submitting my application/resume. I do get an email confirmation from Indeed stating that my application was successfully submitted, etc., but that's it - plain and simple. Sounds a bit fishy to me, too, and I surely wouldn't click and confirm anything from gethired either - agree with you on that one. Good luck with your future job hunting!
